we’ll be playing the Bitcoin board game Blockhunters 🚀

Saturday Board is not a lecture.

It’s a board game meetup where you learn Bitcoin

by actually playing it.

“Why is losing your private key such a big deal?”

If you only hear these things explained,

honestly, it can get a little sleepy.

Yes, we know.

People can fall asleep in front of the mempool.

So this time,

we’re putting Bitcoin on the table.

You’ll fill blocks,

earn rewards,

build strategies,

and learn while suspecting the identities of other players.


This Month’s Game

Blockhunters

Blockhunters is a strategy board game

that turns the way Bitcoin works into a playable experience.

Players fill the mempool with transactions,

mine blocks to earn block rewards,

and compete to collect the most bitcoin.

But it’s not just about collecting as much as you can.

Each player’s identity and private key are hidden.

Sometimes you’ll need to cooperate.

Sometimes you’ll need to bluff.

Luck, strategy, and deception

all come into play.

For those who already know Bitcoin,

it’s the kind of game that makes you say,

“Wait, they turned this into a board game?”

And for those who are new to Bitcoin,

it helps you understand through experience

why mining, the mempool, and private keys matter.
