Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service govern the conditions and procedures for use of the services provided by Saturday Block (hereinafter “Company”) through its website (https://saturdayblock.com, hereinafter “Site”), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. “Service” refers to the following services provided by the Company through the Site:
   • Sale of Bitcoin-related goods and merchandise
   • Organization and reservation of Bitcoin-related meetups
   • Brand sponsorship
   • Blog and content provision
2. “User” refers to any person, whether a member or non-member, who accesses and uses the Service.
3. “Member” refers to a person who has registered by providing personal information to the Company.
4. “Non-Member” refers to a person who uses the Service without registering for membership.
5. “Partner Brand” refers to a third-party business that has entered into a partnership agreement with the Company and sells products or hosts meetups through the Site.
6. “Brand Products/Meetups” refers to products sold or meetups hosted directly by Partner Brands. Brand Products/Meetups are labeled with the respective brand name.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)

1. These Terms become effective upon posting on the Site.
2. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable laws, including the Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act and the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
3. Amended Terms shall be announced on the Site at least 7 days prior to the effective date. Amendments unfavorable to users shall be announced at least 30 days in advance.
4. Members who do not agree to the amended Terms may withdraw their membership. Continued use of the Service after the announced effective date shall be deemed as consent to the amended Terms.

Article 4 (Membership Registration and Eligibility)

1. The Service may be used without membership registration. However, certain features such as wishlists, order history, review writing, and meetup reservations are available only to Members.
2. Registration methods:
   • Email and password registration
   • Lightning authentication (LNURL-auth) registration
3. Users confirm that they are 14 years of age or older. By registering for or using the Service, users are deemed to have agreed to this requirement.
4. Users who provide false information or misappropriate another person's information may be restricted from using the Service, and all responsibility arising therefrom lies with the user.

Article 5 (Service Use)

1. The Service is available 24 hours a day, year-round, except when unavailable due to business or technical reasons.
2. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for the following reasons and shall provide advance notice when possible:
   • System maintenance, replacement, or failure
   • Power outage, natural disaster, or national emergency
   • Suspension of service by telecommunications providers
3. The Company shall not be liable for damages to users resulting from service interruption, unless the Company is found to have acted with intent or gross negligence.

Article 6 (Payment)

1. All goods and services are payable exclusively in Bitcoin (BTC).
2. Payments are processed via Bitcoin on-chain or the Lightning Network.
3. Product prices are displayed in satoshi/BTC/₿ units. Korean Won (KRW) equivalent amounts may be displayed for reference purposes only.
4. Orders are automatically cancelled if payment is not completed within 15 minutes of the payment request.
5. Payment processing may be conducted through external services such as BTCPay Server and Blink. The Company shall not be liable for issues arising from failures or delays of such services.
6. Users must pay only with lawfully owned Bitcoin. The user bears full legal responsibility for payments made with unlawfully obtained cryptocurrency.

Article 7 (Delivery)

1. Delivery methods: Korea Post, CU Convenience Store Delivery, GS25 Convenience Store Delivery
2. Delivery period: Shipped within 3 business days after payment confirmation
3. Shipping fees: Displayed separately per product
4. Loss or damage during delivery is handled in accordance with the applicable courier's compensation policy. The Company will assist with filing claims.
5. The Company shall not be liable for delivery issues caused by inaccurate shipping information provided by the user.
6. If delivery is delayed or returned due to the user's absence, additional costs for redelivery shall be borne by the user.

Article 8 (Meetup Service)

1. Meetup reservations are accepted through the Site, with participation fees paid in Bitcoin.
2. Meetup cancellation and refund:
   • Cancellation at least 7 days before the event: Full refund
   • Cancellation within 7 days of the event or no-show: No refund
3. If a meetup is cancelled due to the Company's circumstances, a full refund will be provided.
4. Meetup venue and schedule may be changed due to unavoidable circumstances, with advance notice. Users who cannot attend due to the change may request a full refund (within 3 days of the change notification).
5. The Company shall not be liable for disputes between users, loss or damage of personal belongings, or safety incidents occurring during meetups, unless the Company is found to have acted with intent or gross negligence.
6. Users must comply with the rules of the meetup venue. Responsibility for issues arising from violations lies with the user.

Article 8-2 (Partner Brand Services)

1. The Company acts as a telecommunications sales intermediary pursuant to Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, providing a platform for Partner Brands to sell products and host meetups through the Site.
2. The Company is not the direct seller of Partner Brand products and meetups. Primary responsibility for product quality, safety, legality, delivery, and customer service lies with the respective Partner Brand (actual seller).
3. Brand products and meetups display the Partner Brand's business name, business registration number, and contact information, allowing users to identify the actual seller and contact them directly.
4. The Company verifies each Partner Brand's business registration and legitimate operating qualifications before approving their listing, and retains related records for 3 years.
5. All payments are processed through the Company. The Company holds payment funds until the user's purchase is confirmed (delivery completion or service fulfillment), then settles with the Partner Brand. This serves to protect users' payment funds.
6. In case of damages caused by a Partner Brand, the Company may withhold or deduct the corresponding amount from the Partner Brand's settlement.
7. The Company actively mediates disputes between Partner Brands and users. If a Partner Brand fails to resolve a dispute within a reasonable period (7 business days), the Company may process a preemptive refund to the user and deduct the amount from the Brand's settlement.
8. If a Partner Brand withdraws or its agreement is terminated, the Company grants the Brand a 7-day period to fulfill outstanding transactions. If not fulfilled within this period, the Company processes refunds to users and deducts the amounts from the Brand's unsettled balance.
9. The Company may suspend or terminate a Partner Brand's listing without prior notice if the Brand violates applicable laws, these Terms, or the partnership agreement.

Article 9 (Sponsorship)

1. Sponsorship is a voluntary donation to support the Company's brand activities and does not constitute payment for goods or services.
2. Sponsorship funds are non-refundable under any circumstances. Users are deemed to have understood and agreed to this before making a sponsorship.
3. If separate rewards are provided for sponsorship, such details will be announced in advance. The type and availability of rewards may be changed or discontinued at the Company's discretion.

Article 10 (User Obligations)

Users shall not engage in the following activities:

1. Registering false information or misappropriating another person's information
2. Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties
3. Intentionally interfering with the Company's service operations
4. Accessing the Service through automated means (bots, crawlers, etc.)
5. Purchasing products in bulk for commercial resale purposes
6. Any other act that violates applicable laws or these Terms

Article 11 (Membership Withdrawal and Restriction)

1. Members may request withdrawal at any time through the My Page section, and the Company will process it immediately.
2. The Company may restrict, suspend, or permanently revoke membership without prior notice in the following cases:
   • Violation of user obligations under Article 10
   • Interfering with other users' service use or misappropriating their information
   • Accessing the Service or its systems through abnormal methods
3. The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from membership restriction or suspension.
4. If a member's status is restricted and there are pending orders, they will be processed in accordance with the Refund Policy.

Article 12 (Intellectual Property Rights)

1. Copyright and intellectual property rights to content posted on the Site (text, images, designs, software, etc.) belong to the Company.
2. Copyright of reviews and posts written by users belongs to the respective users. However, the Company may use, modify, and reprocess such content free of charge for service operation and promotional purposes, and this right shall survive membership withdrawal.
3. Users may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, or create derivative works from the Site's content without the Company's prior written consent.

Article 13 (Disclaimer)

1. The Company shall not be liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, including natural disasters, war, government regulations, or suspension of service by telecommunications providers.
2. The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from issues inherent to the blockchain network, including Bitcoin network delays, fee fluctuations, confirmation delays, and hard forks.
3. The Company shall not be liable for gains or losses resulting from Bitcoin price fluctuations.
4. The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from the user's own fault, including negligent password management, device loss, or entry of an incorrect wallet address.
5. Content provided by the Company (blog posts, notices, etc.) is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice on investment, legal, or tax matters.
6. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's liability shall be limited to the actual BTC amount paid by the user in the relevant transaction.
7. Primary responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, delivery, and customer service of Partner Brand products and meetups lies with the respective Partner Brand. The Company, as a telecommunications sales intermediary, does not assume direct sales liability. However, the Company performs mediation and preemptive refund measures pursuant to Article 8-2 to protect users.
8. The Company actively mediates disputes between Partner Brands and users. If a Partner Brand fails to resolve a dispute within a reasonable period, the Company may process a preemptive refund to the user.

Article 14 (Dispute Resolution)

1. Disputes related to service use shall be resolved through mutual consultation between the Company and the user.
2. If consultation fails, users may apply for dispute mediation through the Korea Consumer Agency (www.kca.go.kr, 1372) or the Electronic Transaction Dispute Mediation Committee.
3. If litigation is filed, jurisdiction shall be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.

Article 15 (Governing Law)

The interpretation and application of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
