Effective Date: April 1, 2026
Article 1 (Scope of Application)
This policy applies to refunds, returns, and exchanges of products and services (including Partner Brand products)sold on the website (https://saturdayblock.com) operated by Saturday Block (hereinafter “Company”). This policy is subject to the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and other applicable laws of the Republic of Korea.
Article 2 (Withdrawal of Offer — Cases Where Returns and Exchanges Are Permitted)
① Users may withdraw their offer (cancel their order) in the following cases:
- Within 7 days from the date of receiving the product (including change of mind)
- When the product differs from the description or advertisement, or when the contract was not fulfilled as agreed (within 3 months from receipt, and within 30 days from the date the user became aware or could have become aware of such fact)
- When the product is defective
② The above periods are calculated starting from the day following the date of product receipt.
Article 3 (Restrictions on Withdrawal of Offer)
In accordance with Article 17, Paragraph 2 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, withdrawal of offer is restricted in the following cases:
- When the product is lost or damaged due to reasons attributable to the user (excluding packaging damage for the purpose of checking contents)
- When the product value has significantly decreased due to the user's use or partial consumption
- When the product value has significantly decreased to the extent that resale is impracticable due to the passage of time
- When the packaging of a reproducible product has been damaged
- Custom-made products individually produced for the user (only when the Company has provided advance notice)
Article 4 (Return Procedure)
- Submit a return request to contact@saturdayblock.com including the reason for return and order number
- Ship the product back following the Company's return approval and instructions
- Refund is processed after receipt and inspection of the returned product
- If the returned product falls under Article 3, the return will be rejected and the product will be shipped back to the user. In this case, round-trip shipping costs shall be borne by the user.
Article 4-2 (Returns for Partner Brand Products)
- Returns and exchanges for Partner Brand products follow the same standards in this policy.
- Refunds are processed by the Company, and the corresponding amount is deducted from the Partner Brand's settlement.
- For returns due to product defects or quality issues, the Partner Brand bears the return shipping costs.
- Users may contact the Partner Brand directly or through the Company for Brand product inquiries.
Article 5 (Return Shipping Costs)
- Returns due to change of mind: Borne by the user (one-way shipping fee of KRW 4,500)
- Returns due to product defect or incorrect shipment: Borne by the Company
- For exchanges, round-trip shipping costs follow the above criteria based on the reason for exchange.
Article 6 (Refund Method — Bitcoin)
- Refunds are processed exclusively in Bitcoin (BTC). Refunds in Korean Won or other currencies are not available.
- The refund amount is based on the BTC amount (in satoshi) paid at the time of the original transaction. The Company shall not be liable for changes in the KRW-equivalent value resulting from Bitcoin price fluctuations.
- To receive a refund, the user must provide their Bitcoin receiving address (on-chain) or Lightning invoice. The Company shall not be liable for refund errors or funds sent to third parties due to incorrect address submission.
- Refund processing period: Within 3 business days after inspection of the returned product
- If the user is responsible for return shipping costs, the equivalent BTC amount may be deducted from the refund amount.
- If the Company delays the refund, late payment interest shall be paid in accordance with Article 18 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
Article 7 (Meetup Refund)
- Cancellation at least 7 days before the event: Full refund
- Cancellation within 7 days of the event or no-show: No refund
- Cancellation due to the Company's circumstances: Full refund
- If the user cannot attend due to a change in meetup date/venue: Full refund (request within 3 days of the change notification)
- Meetup refunds for Partner Brand meetups follow the same standards. Refunds are processed by the Company, and the corresponding amount is deducted from the Partner Brand's settlement. Full refund applies when a Partner Brand cancels a meetup.
Article 8 (Sponsorship Funds)
Sponsorship funds are voluntary donations in nature and are non-refundable under any circumstances. Users are deemed to have confirmed and agreed to this at the time of sponsorship.
Article 9 (Refund Restrictions)
Refunds may be restricted or denied in the following cases:
- When membership has been restricted or suspended due to a violation of the Terms of Service
- When a refund is requested through fraudulent means (false defect claims, product swapping, etc.)
- When an individual user's repeated purchase-and-return pattern is deemed unreasonable in light of normal trade practices
If a refund is denied for any of the above reasons, the Company will notify the user of the reason. Users who disagree may apply for dispute mediation through the Korea Consumer Agency or other relevant organizations.
